Mission

The Friends of the Accokeek Library is an Accokeek community group dedicated "to increase public awareness of the Accokeek Library, its value to the community, its problems and needs, and to increase public support" for the Accokeek Library and all Prince George's County libraries. The Friends have an annual meeting in October, and a phone chain to alert members when there is a need to support the library.
